Peal O' Bells12 Church St
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Village pub adjacent to St Chad’s church. Major refit in 2016 changed the interior from cosy local into contemporary pub-diner. Multiple tables of new/old style. Wood burner in bar area provides good ambience. There is a large fully enclosed garden with a small play area which is a lovely spot to enjoy a beer next to the church and close to the River Dee. Four handpumps serve beers from the guest list plus local breweries such as Big Hand, Stonehouse, Salopian, Purple Moose and Heavy Industry.
