The Centurion

As many members will know, the community in Vicars Cross have been trying to purchase the "Cenny" as a community asset pub from Admiral Taverns. They have made significant progress in obtaining a Government grant and a commercial mortgage. However, they are now trying to raise the remainder of the funds from the community or investors.

The Mayor of Chester will be calling in at 15.30 on 15th February 2024 to raise the profile of the cause together with the secretary of the Chester CAMRA branch and representatives of the media.

Dave Leonard one of the Committee members at the Centurion in Vicars Cross has said "It would greatly increase our chance of success if as many CAMRA members as possible could call in and promote our cause."

They currently have three ales on tap with two rotating and Cheshire Cat as a regular.
