Refurbished in May 2015 as part of the 'Golden Oak' branding, this large suburban pub now has a bright modern interior whilst retaining the striking black and white exterior. The main bar is a large room with some smaller seating areas off it, whilst the rear bar has sports TV. Both bars save the same beers with four handpumps on each. The guest cask beers on offer tend to be from national or regional brewers. As well as a CAMRA membership discount, they offer 10% off cask ales to all on Thursdays from 6pm and also have a loyalty card - buy 5 pints and get one free.
