Tucked away in a cul-de-sac this small one-room Thwaites pub has attractive exterrnal herringbone brickwork and decorative carvings. It is best known and utilised for its late licence (members only after 2am). The rear sun trap beer garden offers a scintilla of a view of old Chester. Pity it can't be accessed via the adjacent historic city walls.
