Tucked away at the rear of St Peter's church near the famous Chester Cross. A multi-roomed bar now primarily marketed with students and light night revellers in mind. The pub dates back to 1817 and was designed by prominent architect Thomas Harrison. Cask has made sporadic appearances on the bar. None on on last few passes and staff admit they don't sell enough of it so fair enough. Better none on than a stale one (or worse).
