See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Standing beside the busy A5 the pub reopened in 2013 as a freehouse and has been revitalised as a consequence. It's a simple three-roomed affair with small central bar, small games room and comfortable lounge with wood burner. Rear verandah decking offers panoramic views not least of the Llangollen canal as it approaches the eponymous world famous aqueduct. Food includes Sunday lunches and is very popular. Additional parking down the lane. Passing bikers are welcome.
